“ Excellent tomato soup noodles, you may choose different topping on the soup noodles. Recommend the beef topping, the beef are soft and juicy, must try. Drinks here also good, own recipe, not too sweet. Snacks here also delicious, reasonable price with good table service. As this restaurant is very famous, long queue is expected. ”

“ Tomato beef stock noodle. Ordered assorted beef and clams noodles. Beef and clams are nice, noodle is nice as well. Tomato stock which is the selling point is rich and fresh. Also, they provide Thyme and Spicy oil which match well with the soup. Slow cook pork neck satay is very soft and tasty! The slow cook wings is good as well. ”
“ We are a group of 5 and we have arrived near the closing time but they were kind enough to accommodate us. However, they were only few in the menu left, they have a menu in Chinese and in English, you will have to order by ticking the menu board with a marker. From the choices of noodles (udon, ramen..) to add ons and extras. I have ordered beef with scrambled egg and udon noodles. Their broth is made from tomato, so it is lighter. The serving is big, you might not be able to finish if you are not that hungry. But I have a big appetite so I did finish the bowl. It is a must try. Also, you might get surprised if there’s a charged of $5 for each order of noodles with scrambled egg. I think it’s for the egg, it’s exclusive of the price. ”
“ Amazing thick broth made of beef and tomato! Super awesome flavor with no beefy taste. Paired with udon which has good texture. I ordered the one with pork chop and the chop was nicely done too. At this at a decent rate given the quantity! I strongly recommend those who can take spicy to add their numbing sauce. So nice! ”
“ Wanted to visit this restaurant many times but each time, it had a long queue in front of the restaurant, and I had to give up. This time I visited it at late lunch hours and I only needed to wait for 10 minutes before I couls sit down. Picked it signature dish tomato soup beef and fried egg with vegetables (instead of noodles) added two beef balls and a hot drink. Tasted the tomato soup first. Wow, it was very much twisted towards Hong Kong flavour. Sweet and sour very much balance. The soup was relatively thick and there was some minced tomato. Excellent. The fried egg was very smooth. Yummy. The beef balls were very juicy too. Amazing. Unfortunately, the beef was not as good as it was advertised. A bit over-cooked!? some of them was a bit chewy. The service was very efficient. It allowed customers to read the menu and pre-order before they were seated. It saved a lot of time. Customers were required to self-register on a form at the door to queue and take a ticket. The vibe was ok. Definitely, it is not a cafe where it allows customers to have a long drink and chit-chat for hours. It has time limit. However, it is definitely a well managed restaurant offering good food to delight customers in an efficient manner. ”
“ The tomato soup base is really really good at this noodle restaurant. Beef brisket and cheek noodle with tomato soup is highly recommended. There is a bottle of Shichang hot spicy sauce on each table. Would recommend to add a tiny bit to add another layer of favour to the tomato soup base. I would say that this is the best in Hong Kong. They have a branch at Wanchai. Must try!!!! ”
“ Have heard many good reviews about this noodle shop for quite some time but did not have the chance to try. After having 6 rice rolls with my stomach half full already, I did not want to miss the chance again. Tried the tomato soup Shanghai noodle with beef, beef balls and egg toppings. Honestly, tomato soup base is not my cup of tea but it was tasty. The beef was good and quite soft but its presentation could improve. The beef balls were so-so and the fried egg was the best. I had a cold bottled milk tea which I think was sub-par. After all this is a noodle shop and I could not expect too much or I should have ordered other drinks instead. Overall worth a try and there are many dishes I have not tried though the price may be on the high side. ”
